HR Advantage is excited to be recruiting for a Logistics & Operations Associate that fulfills the operational and administrative needs related to receiving, inventory, order consolidation, and transportation of domestic and import/export orders. This position maintains close interconnected working relationships with Operations, Sales, and Accounting.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Performs operational and administrative tasks associated with receiving, inventory, order consolidation, and transportation of domestic and import/export orders. Tasks needs are routinely interconnected with those of other Operations, Sales, and Accounting co-workers.
- Physical inspection and receiving of products per vendor Purchase Orders generated by Operations and Sales.
- Perform Quality Control inspections and documentation as per item requirements. Report discrepancies and handle item acceptance or vendor return per accounting procedure and/or supervisor guidance.
- Assemble “Kits” from inventory components and “Build Assembly’s in accounting software.
- Prepare orders for secure shipment in accordance with customer PO requirements. Occasional building of shipping crates for domestic and international shipment required.
- Maintain Vendor PO & SOA Tracking Sheet in coordination with Operations, Sales, and Accounting.
- Respond to customer shipping status inquiries.
- Provide Operations and Sales with routine receiving and shipping status updates.
- Prepare domestic and import/export shipping documents with proper HTS classification for application of US customs duties/fees as applicable.
- Schedule pickup and delivery with UPS, FedEx, LTL Trucking.
- Perform periodic inventory cycle counts to assure accurate inventory and component availability.
- General warehouse organization and housekeeping.
- Process customer routine product re-orders.
- Maintain QuickBooks item master for all components. New part setup, cost, and sell price.
- Maintain product component selection Lookup Sheet. Unique part attributes, cost, and sell price.
- Maintain Valve Selection/Building Sheet. Unique valve and actuation features, cost, and sell price.
- On-site project startup and commissioning assistance to Operations as needed.
- Other Operations and Administration tasks as directed by supervisor.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
