Healthcare Consultants Inc. is looking for a Chief Operating Officer for our client focusing in skilled nursing facilities. We are looking for a leader who can direct the overall operations of the portfolio’s facilities in accordance with customer needs, government regulations and Company policies, with focus on maintaining excellent care for the residents while achieving the company’s business objectives.

We are looking for a proven Director of VP of operations who has a track record of driving goals in the skilled nursing world.

Our client is willing to compensate top rate for a highly qualified candidate. Benefits are competetive and include full paid insurance for candidate and family.

Bonus structure is 50% of annual salary if goals are met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive goals of the company leading to financials succeess of facilities and portfolio
  • Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance work flow, and/or improve the work environment.
  • Lead facilities management staff and consultants in developing and working from a business plan that focuses on all aspects of facility operations, including setting priorities and job assignments.
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct company programs and activities in conjunction with the company’s operational budget and state and federal regulations0.
  • Monitor each department’s activities, communicate policies, evaluate performance, provide feedback and assist, observe, coach, and discipline as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in long-term-care management.
  • Minimum of two (2) years management/supervisory experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through others
  • Ability to think ahead and plan over a one (1) to two (2) year time span.
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.
  • Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.
  • Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures.
  • Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.
