The Outside Sales and Marketing Representative will build sales and profits through the development and follow through of our sales processes. They will establish contact with a variety of individuals, organizations, and businesses for the purpose of connection, relationship building, and ultimately customer sales. This position will serve a broad customer base, in varying locations, with diverse customer personalities, so the ability to adapt to changing conditions, situations, and circumstances is a must. In addition, they will be responsible for effective market analysis, account building, account maintenance, creation of sales plans, documentation of sales activity, and achievement of sales goals. Ability to work independently and as part of the team is a must
Responsibilities
· Develop annual, monthly, and weekly sales goals in conjunction with strategic planning
· Maintain sales through effective account management and maintenance
· Research, monitor, and report current market conditions
· Develop and maintain market leadership through competitive pricing management and research
· Provide input into annual budget.
· Up to 80% of the time will be spent traveling within a 150 mile radius of central Wisconsin, researching and calling on new customers and maintaining contact with existing customers.
· Function as an effective member of the team by providing timely customer and research information.
· Asking the right questions, at the right times, to get the right answers
Qualifications
Education and Experience
A degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field with practical field experience, or equivalent work experience. 2-5 years of proven sales experience is preferred
Selling Skills
Understands and effectively applies the concepts of differentiation and adding value. Knows customer markets and the issues/challenges they face as a customer, and can translate that information into useful selling strategies. Builds long term relationships to drive increased revenue and demand for services.
Financial Reports and Documents
Understands basic concepts and content of financial reports as applicable. Ability to track market trends and shift sales direction accordingly.
Strategic Skills
Comprehends the ‘big picture’. Determines opportunities and threats. Comfortable contributing to the strategic plan and future direction for the organization.Ability to track market trends and shift sales direction accordingly.
Mathematical Skills
Strong math skills. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages, and to interpret financial reports. Analyze performance against business sales plans and industry benchmarks.
Computer Skills
Demonstrates proficiency in use of computers and computer software; especially MS Office, Word, Excel and ERP Software.
Compensation
Compensation is negotiable and will comprise of a base salary plus commission with mileage reimbursement. Hay Creek offers a competitive benefits package that can be discussed at time of interview.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
