Description:

Greenville University seeks a full time Assistant/Associate Professor to lead the academic offerings of the all-online Organizational Leadership degree program, as well as online and face-to-face English as a Second Language courses in Education. Position is responsible for scheduling of courses and instructors, evaluating and improving the program, advising students, and carrying an appropriate teaching load. The selected candidate must provide evidence of a vibrant Christian faith, clearly understand, and internalize the mission of Greenville University, and articulate the value of Christian higher education. As a faculty member, the selected candidate will participate in departmental and university committee assignments and other activities to advance the mission of Greenville University.

Interested Candidates should have experience and/or interest in teaching in one or more of the following areas:

  • Principles in Leadership
  • Values/Ethics Decision Making
  • Methods for Language Learners
  • Assessment and Evaluation for TESL
  • Cross-Cultural Studies for TESL

. Requirements:

  • Seeking applicants with a Doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership, as well as a graduate degree in Teaching English as a Second Language who have teaching experience at the collegiate level.
  • Candidates with a master’s degree and significant teaching experience at the collegiate or secondary level will be considered.
  • The successful applicant should be enthusiastic about teaching in multiple disciplines.
  • Evidence of quality teaching at collegiate level in online and face-to-face settings
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Candidates must be dedicated to undergraduate teaching and committed to serving as a role model for students within a Christian academic community.
  • A vibrant personal Christian faith commitment is required, with a strong commitment to a broadly Wesleyan tradition.

Compensation:

  • Salary is based on academic preparation and years of relevant experience.
