General Description

We seek to hire LOCAL Laborers experienced with working on construction sites.

Laborers may be expected to work some weekend dates from time to time. All Greenup employees are required to adhere to client-site safety standards, take pre-employment and random drug tests per the company requirement. The ideal candidate for this position will be self-directed, work well with others, be flexible and (most importantly) safety-conscious. Additionally, he or she should be familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures to ensure project security.

Pre-Requisites

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the company
• Must be able to climb in to out and of heavy equipment safely
• Must be able to work in areas of high noise
• Ability to do physical labor
• Ability to work in all weather
• Workers must be punctual and reliable
• Must be willing to work weekends
• Able to work under indirect and direct supervision

Essential Functions

• Must be able to perform work while wearing the proper Personal Protective Equipment
• Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints
• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site
• Direct traffic when necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists and work crew
• Load or unload construction materials; dirt, clay
• Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
