GovCIO is currently hiring for a BHA Deployable Communications Manager. This position will be located in Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities:
- The BHA Deployable Communications Manager will be supporting the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) tasks for O&M of the USAID Information Technology Infrastructure and Systems (ITIS) program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 12+ years of IT communications experience (or commensurate experience)
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant technologies including, but not limited to, very small aperture terminals (VSAT), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), advanced radio communications, laptops, mobile phones, and video communication systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing a team of qualified subject matter experts who perform a critical communications support and services function in austere environments.
- Clearance Required: Secret clearance or above
Preferred qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience, including field-based, in civilian-based humanitarian assistance and disaster response, particularly as it pertains to the provision of operational field Communications voice and data support.
- Demonstrated experience managing the contractor’s proposed methodologies and standards as they pertain to disaster-related Communications Field Support.
- Training and experience in civilian-based field operations, particularly as it pertains to safety and security.

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Posted Salary Range: USD $150,000.00 – USD $229,000.00/Yr.
