About the Role
:

The IT Support Specialist provides end-user laptop and technology support for GLOBO staff along with executing the configuration and deployment of all workstations. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for delivering end-user support of Google products and MAC laptops to GLOBO staff. Additionally, this person will support any IT integration tasks associated with acquisitions.
This position is remote (but applicants must live in the Greater Philadelphia Area), part-time (20 hours per week), and temporary (6 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent).
Responsibilities
:

  • Configure, maintain, support, and decommission all laptops and Chromebooks.
  • Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware and software issues. Research issues as required before escalating the issue to the next level of support.
  • Configure and install gmail accounts.
  • Provide IT support of google domain for integration activities – gmail, google drive, etc.
  • Provide help desk support to corporate computer users.
  • Upgrade hardware security settings as required to prevent security breaches.
  • Act as the frontline of internal technical support between end-users and the rest of IT.
  • Document resolutions in IT knowledge base for future reference.
  • Other duties as assigned
Apply if

  • You have a Two (2) year degree in Information Technology or four years of related work experience.
  • Experience and/or familiarity with Mac and customer service.
You’ll get bonus points for:
  • Prior experience in Information Technologies troubleshooting, administration, and end-user support preferred.
