Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be a key part of our collaborative team. You’ll bring your skills and expertise to a service conscious specialty pharmacy and work to consistently build relationships with patients. You’ll help us exceed expectations and provide safe, accurate and efficient care in order to achieve the best patient, Team Member and company outcomes.
Job Description
- Experience Required: 1 to 3 years. Registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee, as required by the state. 1-3 years as a pharmacy technician or experience in related field
- Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
- Lifting Requirement: Up to 25 pounds
- Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in the filling and shipping of prescriptions
- Put the prescription order away (daily)
- Communicate with patients/customers to confirm and place prescription orders
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the pharmacy work environment
- Ensure all Filling/packing supplies are replenished and restocked
- Backtag all prescriptions and file prescriptions/records
- Maintain all appropriate state licensure
