Ghai Management Services Ghai Management is a family-owned business founded in 1999 by Sunny Ghai, when he acquired and developed his first Burger King restaurants. Since then the company has grown its restaurant portfolio to 140 Burger King, 40 Taco Bell, 20 Popeyes, and 10 Convenience & Gasoline units in California and Oregon. The majority if its restaurants are in the San Francisco / Oakland / San Jose, Sacramento / Stockton, Portland, Fresno, Bakersfield, Salinas / Monterey, and Chico / Redding markets.

GMSI Development
Development and Remodels are managed directly by Sunny Ghai. We open 10-12 new units and remodel 10-12 legacy resaurants across brands on an annual basis. The development department is responsible for projects from identification of new real estate, design and entitlements, through construction and turnover. Development is a keystone of Ghai Management’s operation.
Project Manager & Equipment Procurement
The Development Project Manager is responsible for tactically supporting the day to day needs of Restaurant Construction activities. This is a role that includes, but is not limited to, providing excellent administrative and project management support to the Construction & Procurement teams. To be successful in this role, the individual will be a detailed, organized self-starter with natural problem-solving and skills that is comfortable juggling a wide variety of projects.
Essential Responsibilities Will Include
- Request & review quotes and plans for accuracy
- Maintain budget tracking reports
- Facilitate quote and approval process as required
- Execute and track purchase orders accurately and promptly to ensure proper delivery of goods and services
- Reconcile invoices to ensure accuracy
- Process invoices for payment in compliance with organizational policy
- Report on project status
- Maintain accurate supplier records and new item specifications
- Communicate and follow-up frequently and consistently to ensure issues are resolved and projects are operating as expected
- Complete other duties as may be assigned
Experience
- Highly proficient in Office 365 environment, Smartsheet, SAP experience a plus
- Four (4) year college degree or equivalent years of industry experience in Construction or Procurement preferred
- Construction project management experience is highly desirable
