Position Summary

The IT Technician will provide 1st and 2nd tier Hardware, Software, Printer, Network support locally and regionally for all Fresh Express Facilities; as part of a nationwide team of 7 on-site IT Technicians responding to escalated Helpdesk Incidents as well as user requests, the on-site IT technician will support approximately 150 users.

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

  • 2nd Tier Support of 150 users (Windows 7/10) – break/fix issues
  • Application troubleshooting (Office 365 / Outlook)
  • System imaging and deployment using SCCM
  • Network (Wireless and Wired) problem troubleshooting / escalation to Global Networking team
  • Troubleshooting conference room equipment (projectors, video conference, conference phones)
  • Cisco VoIP telephone deployment and troubleshooting
  • Printer troubleshooting/repair/escalation
  • Spare inventory management
  • Packing/shipping equipment to other locations
  • On site IBM Backup Tapes management

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work self-directed and set/adjust priorities in very fast paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong documentation/recordkeeping skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • A+ Certification
  • 3+ years providing 2nd tier Hardware/Software support – Executive support a huge plus
  • Advanced familiarity with TCP/IP fundamentals
  • Willing to work in a warehouse environment helping user with tablets, scanners, zebra printers and wireless access points

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree on Computer Science preferred
  • SCCM, Service Now, AS/400, ITIL v3, Networking, other IT certifications
