Formaspace
The primary function of the inventory control specialist is to maintain proper inventory levels in ERP system and maintaining consumable inventory by monitoring stock and generating purchase orders as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitors and maintains inventory ensuring data is entered accurately in the companys ERP systems. Manage all inventory operations including but not limited to: counting, receiving, daily cycle counts, and full inventory counts.
- Reconcile physical counts; research discrepancies and report variances in cycle counts to management.
- Manages consumable and vendor managed inventory (VMI). Recommends and/or submits purchase order requests to reorder inventory based on current production rates.
- Assist with the put-away of products into locations may require the use of a forklift or other equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, keeping receiving areas, shipping areas, aisles, and racks free of hazards or obstructions.
- Act as a role model for all production and to stay actively involved in developing the Formaspace culture along with continued participation in culture crew events and activities associated with building our culture.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Preferred Education: Associate’s Degree or Higher
Experience:
- 5-7 years experience in a inventory / purchase role, preferably in manufacturing industry
- ERP Purchasing, Netsuite preferred.
Skills:
- Strong verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to learn with minimal input or direction strong plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $68,000.00 per year
