Sales & Marketing will support the direction and execution of a variety of sales and marketing solutions focused on clinical referral sources about the value of hospice services generally. In addition to actively engaging in account outreach, the individual will assist in the development of marketing support materials, including collaterals, presentations, and messaging. The role has autonomy and encompasses a range of responsibilities from a national business development standpoint that support the enterprise.
- Route qualified prospects to the appropriate program for further development and closure.
- Assist in the development of sales messaging and strategies that align to the customers’ needs to ensure hospice-eligible patients gain timely access to hospice services and participate in post analysis of strategic initiatives post roll-out to pivot approach.
- Maintain internal and external business relationships; manage deadlines, expectations and deliverables on time and within budget.
- Coordinate campaigns by communicating clear direction for internal Copy and Design teams, considering all issues, risks, budgets, timelines, resourcing and material.
- Proofreads a wide range of business development and marketing support materials, and ensures key messages align and reflect national business development strategy.
- Analyzes key competitor business development strategies and creative messaging to strengthen and maintain company’s industry leadership position.
- Participates in events to support promotion for business development conferences, and attends events as required.
- Assess clients needs and present suitable promoted products
- Present product information and deliver product samples
- Communicate with and persuade targeted doctors to prescribe our products utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis
- Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and symposium circuits
- Keep detailed records of all contacts
- Manage budgets for catering, outside speakers, conferences and hospitality
- Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message
- Plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables with the area sales team or discuss future targets with the area sales manager
Qualifications for Medical Sales Representative * 3 years experience as a medical sales & marketing representative or similar role
- Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines, and latest medical issues
- Knowledge of MS Office & Quick Books
- Knowledge in Medicare Advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent teamwork and networking skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Ability to travel frequently
- Strong negotiation and sales skills
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental Pay:
