Competency Requirements:
Basic Computer Skills. Basic competency of MS Office or related products.
Ability to obtain forklift license.
Ability to obtain overhead crane license.
Requires a broad knowledge of specialized practices systems or procedures.
Plans and evaluates projects independently. Reports on outcomes of task to Management.
Work requires employee to make logical significant decisions using generally recognized skills/techniques.
Guidance not always available – must sometimes be accountable for own independent work.
Responsibilities:
The variety of applications requires an ability to plan, layout and perform diversified work, which may be characterized as short run production or job shop (custom work).
Includes high pressure and code welding or other work involving critical safety and load requirements or welding where appearance is critical.
Set up and run Plasma Cutter.
Set up and operate all machinery in machine shop.
Perform daily/weekly maintenance on production machines.
Responsible for inventory accuracy and daily cycle counting.
Assist with product assemblies as needed.
Participate in Continuous Improvement and Suggestion System as required.
You should be proficient in:
- Proficient in Blueprint Reading
- Proficient in Machine Setups for Production Runs
- Experience with Manual Machining

- Manual Plasma Cutter
- CNC Plasma Cutter
- MIG Welder
- TIG Welder
- Calipers and Micrometers
- Measurement Gauges
Salary info:
$18 – $22 / hr
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
