We are looking for an After Hours Logistics Traffic Manager that is self-motivated and has the desire to work in a fast-paced, exciting career with one of Michigan’s 50 Companies to Watch. Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day operations, including tracking and tracing assigned shipments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date carrier records
- Ensure all database documentation is compliant with industry standards
- Maintain a complete understanding of markets, including seasonal freight
- Maintain a complete understanding of the assigned Logistics Consultant’s book of business, including POC’s, common lanes, and common trailer types
- Oversee transportation in route to ensure timely pick-up and delivery
- Communicate with transportation companies to ensure all parts of assigned delivery are completed
- Work with an assigned team that includes Logistics Consultant and Carrier Relations
- Collaborate with assigned team to track and trace all weekend freight as needed
- Maintain carrier information in an internal database, including location, equipment type, and availability
- Oversee all parts of loads in transit through internal software
- Continuously seek areas for improved efficiencies
Key Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in internal software, including Aljex, FWF CRM, Power DAT, Truckstop, RateView, Carrier 411, and MacroPoint
- Proficient written and verbal communicator
- Organized with high attention to detail
- Reports to the Director of Carrier Relations

Compensation and Benefits
- 50k base salary + uncapped commissions after an initial 90-day training period
- 60k base salary + uncapped commissions after the 180-day advanced training period
