Duties
The IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS-PLCYPLN) Contracts and Projects:
- Provides technical information to assist in determining the type of contract and level of competition, Statements of Objectives (SOOs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Requests for Information (RFIs) for timely delivery of capabilities.
- Conducts Market Research.
- Assesses IT requirements and supports IT portfolio managers and IT proponents in developing IT performance work statements, acquisition plans, acquisition strategies, and contract documents.
- Works collaboratively with business offices and other project managers in the execution, monitoring, and control of IT contracts and projects.
- Oversees the performance of contracts in conjunction with the Project and/or Program Managers to ensure Contractor compliance with requirements of the statement of work (SOW), specifications, or performance work statement (PWS).
- Facilitates project and inter-project communications, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
- Ensure projects are planned and executed in accordance with all Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) standards, principles, and guidelines; MC-I IT Governance framework; and budgets are appropriately authorized and coordinated through the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
- Coordinates planning and development of IT Budget to ensure alignment with OA and DOT strategic priorities.

Pay: $106,823.00 – $138,868.00 per year
