POSITION SUMMARY:
This position works with the Engineering team to oversee the enterprise change management processes.
Utilizing a range of administrative and project management skills this position supports the maintenance of the Engineering Document Control and Change Order System. Individual must have a basic understanding of engineering document control and change order policies and procedures, Enterprise Change Orders (ECO), parts management and/or database management. They must have experience working with engineers to monitor and manage change orders/documentation in a high-tech environment. May provide limited support both within and external to the department, interacting with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and finance for the creation, review and approval of Enterprise Change Orders (ECO).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
- Support the Enterprise Change Management process and activities related to status tracking, documentation of key information and compliance.
- Developing, designing, and establishing reporting standards for the change management processes.
- Provides information on a variety of requests related to maintaining standard documentation practices.
- Maintains a positive rapport with all personnel and is able to communicate key information across functions while highlighting barriers for success.
- Organizational abilities to accurately maintain product, part, and change order records on site, assuring ease of access. Reconciles, verifies, and processes documentation as needed.
- Demonstrates proficiency on all Microsoft Office applications and other Product Data Management tools.
- Process holds and releases for Part Numbers and Models.
- Create and manage bills of material.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Non-Tech) or equivalent.
- Experience in PDM. Proficient in JDE.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Database experience.
- Solid general management, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to correspond both in writing ideas and orally. Excellent communication skills necessary.
- Ability to analyze issues and situations systematically.
- Ability to recommend practical ways using innovation, good judgment, creativity, and strategic thinking.
- Problem solving skills including ability to multi-task and knowing the sense of urgency.
