Overview:

Revenue Reporting, Planning and Analysis is responsible for the Firm’s revenue accounting, management reporting, and revenue planning and analysis. We exist to uphold the financial integrity of our Firm’s financial statements, provide the right information and analysis to the right people at the right time, and champion Financial Stewardship throughout the Firm.

The Revenue Reporting team is responsible for our monthly revenue financial close process, firm-level management reporting and analysis and firm revenue planning.

In this position, you will work in a variety of different capacities, including (but not limited to) the monthly close cycle, creation of financial statements, financial reporting, financial planning, modeling and analysis, general ledger account reconciliations, special projects, and more.

This role delivers financial integrity through recording and accounting for the firm’s revenue. Further, it partners across the firm to proactively identify and deliver revenue trends and insights that influence and impact business decisions.

Responsibility Summary:
While associates in a Sr Financial Analyst III role work in multiple different capacities to support the team up through senior firm leaders, responsibilities typically include the following:

  • Advanced financial analysis, forecasting, and complex financial modeling of various revenue streams and products.
  • Manage and optimize data; e xtract, cleanse and transform data to support the needs of reporting and analyses while applying critical thinking to pressure test and validate logic and outputs against known sources and understanding of business.
  • Presentation of financial reports and analysis, both written and verbal.
  • Develop divisional/functional and Firm-level measurements to create awareness of and accountability for results.
  • Proactively identify efficiency, data integrity, and control improvements opportunities with moderate to broad impact and visibility, propose solutions to relevant parties and drive implementation of solutions
  • Develop and manage business relationships with senior leaders and executive-level management across the organization
  • Inform and educate other business areas on financial concepts and best practices as well as the financial impact of business decisions; delivering insights and recommending an optimal or preferred solution to influence strategic direction.
  • Participate in and frequently lead cross-functional teams responsible for implementing projects in support of divisional or firm-wide business objectives

Position Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility. This includes experience in accounting, reporting and financial planning.
    • Ability to think strategically. Seeing through complex ambiguous situations from multiple perspectives. Deliver change in support of a strategic vision.
    • Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with internal and external business partners.
    • Must work well collaboratively.
    • Ability to plan and organize efficiently and effectively.
    • Ability to manage complex financial matters and processes.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization.
    • Proven ability to effectively drive change initiatives and exercise influence.
    • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required, including working ability to utilize pivot tables, advanced charting, advanced formulas, and conditional formatting.

What Could Set You Apart:

    • Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools a plus.
    • Prior experience with departmental systems (PeopleSoft, OneStream) also a plus.
    • Advanced Degree (MBA/MSF)/Comparable Certifications (CFA, CPA, etc.) preferred. Industry experience or licensing (SEI or Series 7) a plus.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:
