The E3 Diagnostic division is the US sales, service and distribution function for all audiological screening and diagnostic equipment and related products, and is the leading provider of Audiology equipment and service in the industry. E3 is comprised of one central General Office (Arlington Heights, IL) and several dozen Sales and Service offices throughout the continental US.
Responsibilities:
The primary role for the Operations Manager is to create and maintain a system in which all of our customers receive only the most clearly superior level of service in the industry every time they interact with us.
- Inventory Management
- Develop business relationships with vendors to obtain best possible costs, strong service levels, and to make sure we have the most current product price lists
- Accurately maintain the necessary data on everything the company sells including equipment, booths, parts, supplies, service, etc. This data includes descriptions, part numbers, list pricing, costs, discount structures, lead times, minimum order quantities, etc. in computer system. Discontinue items when appropriate
- Working with Accounting/Finance, validate inventory accuracy at all e3 locations; investigate and reconcile discrepancies, minimize losses
- Utilize our computer systems to best manage inventory levels to maintain consistently high service levels and minimal excess/obsolete inventory
- Develop processes with field offices to efficiently manage inventory in their locations
- Manage field Sales demo inventory including tracking equipment location, transfers, vendor, product, serial numbers of each demo unit, date acquired, costs and current value. Working with Leadership Team and manufacturers, order new demo equipment and manage demo sell-off program. Perform physical inventory analysis for demos
- Manage warehouse team to maximize customer satisfaction with exceptional order fill rates and accuracy, and minimum DIOH and excess/lost inventory
- Expense Reports – Review expenses to confirm submissions are following the e3 Diagnostics expense guidelines. Provide procedures and train employees
- Manage company car fleet program
- Manages the properties, leases, physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs – both in AH and for all regional offices.
- Manages AH kitchen and office supplies
- Maintain files (paper and electronic), making sure that all documentation is filed properly so that it is accessible to everyone in the office
- Assists with completion of customer-required legal forms (ex: business associate agreements, proof of insurance, etc)
- Special or general office projects as directed
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years managing similar functions
- Strong hands-on inventory management experience
- Undergraduate degree
- Management experience
- Maintain professional and positive demeanor
- Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented
- Must be able to collaborate as part of a team
- Ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with numbers and calculations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
