Nursing Care Assistant – Telemetry Unit – Duke Regional Hospital
Duke University Health System- Duke Regional Hospital seeks to hire a Nursing care Assistant who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together.
Unit 5-2 is a 33-bed cardiac telemetry step-down unit. We are a very welcoming unit that strives at being rated #1 in providing excellent patient care and customer service. We also believe in recognizing our staff for their dedication to nursing excellence. We serve an extensive patient population with illnesses that include but are not limited to CHF, COPD, Chest Pain, Dysrhythmias, CABGs, pre- and post-procedural patients, Insulin drips, Heparin drips, and several Cardiac drips. We also offer several learning opportunities that not only include our patient population but also the Nurse Residency Program that helps support entry-level practice nurses. The unit provides a great work environment for staff to collaborate and grow within their practice. On-the-job training will be provided.
Night Shift 7p-7a
Perform a variety of nonprofessional nursing duties in the direct care of patients under the direct supervision of an RN/LPN. Perform a variety of clerical duties involved in preparing, maintaining, and processing patient, unit (s), and hospital data and records including operating the organization’s patient care information systems.
