Job Description :
Contract W2 Role
Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing software applications and tools, recommending new technologies and methodologies to improve performance and usability.
- Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy new software tools to extend or replace existing capabilities.
- Provide full lifecycle database design and software development, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, documentation, supporting technical writers and testers, configuration, and maintenance.
- Maintain existing custom-developed software and support COTS/GOTS software products as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work/military experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of related experience.
- Security Clearance: Secret clearance to start and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience in developing scalable software applications with experience in analytics using large data sets.
- Strong expertise in configuration management and big data technologies, with proven ability to manage large data sets.
- Proficiency in building custom web-based applications utilizing the .NET framework, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with JavaScript and various JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Kendo UI, Bootstrap, Knockout JS, Moment JS, and Microsoft SignalR.
Preferred Skills:
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work.
- Strong written and business communication skills.
- Ability to interpret specifications, troubleshoot, and create software solutions.
- Good working knowledge of integrating web applications.
- Passion for continuous improvement and innovation, with ease working in an agile environment with little supervision.
