As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be directly responsible for managing the information technology needs of our growing cybersecurity company, through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure. You can resolve reported issues and inquiries via phone, emails, onsite, or remote access. You provide appropriate documentation on the reported issues and provide regular status reports to internal stakeholders and external customers, you maintain a high level of customer relations through responsiveness and focus on ensuring customer satisfaction.
Where applicable, you participate in 24X7 customer technical support. You engage with broader team members to identify and resolve technical issues associated with system or software configuration, and licensing. Additionally, you will assist in the management of certification and accreditation processes such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001. You may also assist with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and CI (Continuous Integration) processes and pipelines. You are responsible for executing defined processes and solutions, such as compliance, security standards and processes, and the creation of gap analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages information technology (IT) needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure.
- Manages the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure within the organization, including cloud applications and software.
- Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, and implements software solutions.
- Maintain IT security standards and processes, defining controls and procedures
- Create gap analysis and road map for ISO 27001 status, inclusive of risk assessment/management
- Implement ISO 27001 ISM
- Configures, installs, maintains, and upgrades server applications and hardware.
- Provides technical support and customer service to the organization’s users of computer applications and hardware (e.g., PCs, servers, mainframes)
- Answers questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status, and downtime procedures
- Collaborates with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development to restore service and/or identify problems
Experience in:
- ISO27001/Risk/Assurance experience, strongly preferred but not required
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) preferred but not required
- ITIL 4 Foundations certification preferred but not required
- Cloud services and configuration experience
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent 6+ years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to utilize the applications for Microsoft Office for support, reporting and documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Self-starter, cooperative attitude; team player, accountable
- Must have excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Experience using a ticketing system
- Previous customer service experience
This is a fully remote position.
Salary: $75,000 – $80,000
Candidates must either be US Citizens or Green Card holders.
