Sales Representative
Department: Sales
Location: Western Reginal Territory in US
Reports To: Director of Sales
Position Summary:
Responsible for the sales, dealer development and territory development within the Western US territory.
Essential Functions:
1. Pursue, develop, and maintain relationships with dealers in sales territory determined by manager to include existing and potential dealers.
2. Meet and exceed sales goals and objectives assigned by manager.
3. Meet and exceed dealer development goals and objectives assigned by manager.
4. Preparing a variety of sales status reports that include activity, follow-up, closings, and adherence to targets.
5. Demonstrate the company’s product and give advice to dealers/customers on the benefits of using the products to reduce costs and increase revenue.
6. Evaluate dealers intermittently for successful partnership.
7. Utilize and maintain Zoho CRM for client contacts, touchpoints and follow up.
8. Communicate new services, product opportunities, feedback, special developments, or information collected during field activity
9. Educate dealers as a product expert.
10. Follow up on referrals and new leads resulting after field activity.
11. Develop and maintain the existing product knowledge and sales materials.
12. Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales contracts.
13. Participating in marketing events like trade shows and customer open houses.
14. Support dealers and end user clients with machinery operations and troubleshooting as required.
15. Travel will be required for this position; Total travel will be approximately 75% with it split 80% for region assigned and 20% nationally for trade shows.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:
1. Mechanical and technical background with construction equipment a plus.
2. Proven track record in both mechanical and sales in the construction industry.
3. Experience in OEM dealer relationships.
4. Ability to interact with multiple teams to complete projects.
5. Strong computer and analytical skills.
6. Effective organization skills.
7. Ability to develop positive relationships with customers.
8. Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and teamwork.
Job Types: Full-time, Commission
Pay: $50,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
