Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced regional manager to oversee our business operations in Northeast Ohio. The regional manager will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximize profitability. Duties include guiding management staff in your region, setting performance objectives, evaluating, and optimizing operational performance, ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to lead and manage people, ensure operations run smoothly, and achieve budget goals. A top-notch regional manager should be able to perform efficiently in a high-pressure environment and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Professionally maintains effective relationships with clients by communicating and visiting regularly about what their needs are for the assigned building
- Understands how to supervise a team that is in multiple locations
- Must be able to review reports and email correspondences on a smartphone
- Must be able to effectively use software programs (ex: Google Drive, Microsoft Office)
- Delegates and executes client and customer needs in a timely manner
- Supervise, hire, engage, train, and develops employees
- Reviews employees’ hours, ensuring they are fulfilling client needs within budget and maintains budget by staying within allocated hours
- Maintains all equipment and supplies to ensure staff have the resources necessary to complete contract specifications
- Execute satisfactory working knowledge in all major areas of building maintenance, including restroom sanitation, office cleaning, carpet care, hard floor care, equipment operation and maintenance, in addition to chemical knowledge
- Attend scheduled training sessions
- Ability to read, comprehend, and implement the Scope of Work for a contract and communicate that knowledge
- Working knowledge of computer software including spreadsheets, word processing, google drive and other products used in managing accounts.
Requirements:
This position requires an elevated level of communication skills related to training front line workers and supervisors, as well as relating positively to workers. On the job experience will be favorably considered. Requires ambitious standards and the ability to correct deficiencies in a timely manner. The goal should be a constant improvement in overall performance at each contract while operating within budget guidelines
Qualified persons will have a minimum of two years’ experience successfully operating in a similar capacity with a staff of at least one hundred full time employees or part time combined.
