JOB SUMMARY:
Provide outstanding Guest Service while being responsible for performing technical and administrative tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency of our overall technology systems. Adhere to all Company policies and gaming regulations and protect the Company’s assets. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all standards, policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for all administrative tasks in the department including filing, purchasing, payroll, etc.
- Applies understanding and knowledge of information systems products and services to assist internal users
- Manage corporate Verizon account. Manage billing, assign phones, configure phones, etc.
- IT Purchasing. IT is responsible for purchasing everything from equipment to services used to keep our properties running. This involves working with Accounting to ensure that all POs are created per their standards, invoices are paid on a timely basis, and managing relationships with vendors like Dell, Verizon, CDW, Amazon, etc.
- Printer Contract Management. Manage the contract for printer services across the organization, ensure supply levels are maintained and manage the lease payments.
- Administrative duties – General administrative duties in support of the entire IT organization, and myself. This includes ensuring training compliance, safety meeting representative, coordination of travel, etc.
- May involve the use of a problem management database and help desk systems
- Responsible for responding to inquiries and providing information to customers calling into a service hotline
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management in both written and verbal form
- Understand and comply with all company, departmental and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations, policies and procedures
- Possess the ability to conduct in-depth analysis of given problems and take logical, well thought out steps towards their solution
- Possess mature judgement, good organizational skills, problem solving skills, multitasking abilities and the ability to perform well under pressure to meet established deadlines
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationship with staff and guests
- Must be able to maintain Gaming work card
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Proficient in Windows
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
