We are currently looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative to work with and service our customers at Charm Medical Supply located in West Hartford, CT.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
· Process customer orders and verify patient insurance eligibility to facilitate with billing department on insurance authorizations
· Address customer inquiries and requests with accuracy and urgency
· Develop and maintain positive customer relations, and ensure customer inquiries are answered in a timely and caring manner.
· Interest and willingness to learn product line to consult with customer
· Partner internally to create a seamless experience for our customers and resolve potential issues.
· Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA Guidelines/regulations when handling patient information
· Complete other duties and miscellaneous projects as assigned
Position Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication stills
· Ability to work through and resolve issues and inquires with clients
· Ability to follow written and oral instructions
· Advanced beginner to Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
· Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
· Demonstrates attention to detail
· Dependable, with a strong work ethic and a team player
· Experience in customer service and/or healthcare preferred (but not required)
· Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus!
· Previous Call Center experience is also a plus!
