We are seeking an exceptional HR and hiring professional to join our ever-growing team. The Head of People Operations’ primary responsibility will be to ensure that ChannelApe is a world class company to work for. You help bring elite level talent to the team and foster a great corporate culture. This role partners closely with all teams, including Operations, Finance, Engineering, Delivery, Product and Customer Success.
Responsibilities
- Help create a culture that fosters a high level of employee trust by celebrating the open door policy and being a model of our values; provide coaching and advice to leadership, managers, and employees.
- Lead hiring of all open roles, including both technical (engineering, product, development) and non-technical roles (sales, operations, marketing)
- Facilitate onboarding and off-boarding processes, required notices, professional development, and other related PeopleOps initiatives and processes.
- Handle general HR inquiries from employees for HR processes and policies.
- Regularly meet with VP Finance and Operations to review goals, identify areas of opportunity, and to develop and implement action items and strategies.
- Evolve and scale our PeopleOps processes and programs with best practices.
- Work closely with VP Finance and Operations to structure compensation and benefits programs, with market data and analysis.
- Work with leaders as assigned to help address employee relations issues, help mitigate risk and provide proactive recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Human Resources, legal and regulatory concerns including: Federal, State, and all local laws and regulations such as FLSA, ADA, and FMLA.
- Communicate and work cross-functionally with various departments within the organization on a variety of business activities.
- Manage and help with employee resource programs and culture events.
- Help conduct and manage performance review cycles.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive HR/PeopleOps experience, including 5+ years in a high-growth startup environment.
- SHRM SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
- Expert knowledge of HR strategies, policies and processes.
- Strong track record of driving and delivering results across all HR disciplines, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, employee retention, immigration, performance management, L&D.
- A strategic thinker able to solve immediate challenges while considering long-term impact.
- Highly effective communication skills amongst all levels with ability to synthesize ideas and present them in a poised and polished manner.
- Effective and proactive leader guided by thoughtfulness, empathy, and collaboration.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
