Broadway Medical Clinic is looking for a self-motivated and skilled IT support technician. Duties: * Must work well with others and have a friendly/professional personality. Collaboration is huge to your success here. Must not be afraid to ask questions. * Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software and network-related problems encountered by end-users of the network.
- Configures and installs Windows workstations and Server Operating systems in response to the demands of a complex network design, under the guidance of the IT Manager.
- Trains end-users on the use and features of the various operating systems and applications on the various platforms (Must have both Windows and Mac OSX experience).
- Uses established tracking system to log requests; monitors progress, tracks problem resolution, identifies patterns of failure, researches bug fixes and implements solutions; communicates with Director of IT regarding unresolved problems.
- Works within a team environment to solve application problems to meet end-user computing needs within the medical systems environment.
- Optimizes computer usage by researching and recommending enhancements to system capabilities and performance.
- Enforces the network security and installation procedures approved by the Systems Administrator or Director of IT.
- Create, modify maintain user accounts in accordance with industry best practices and corporate policies.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- May be required to travel to staff member homes to support VPN and software systems.
- Provide after hours and weekend coverage as part of rotating support roster. Must be flexible to work after hours and weekends for projects.
- Other duties as assigned. Abilities:
* Proficient in MacOS versions 10.15 and up.* Microsoft Windows 10 * Must be able to communicate well with professional staff (Nurses & Physicians)
- Windows Server 2012 and up
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience troubleshooting or familiar with both Apple and Windows Operating Systems.
Providing professional network support in a MS Windows-based environment for small to mid-sized companies
Certification or 3+ years of equivalent experience (considered a plus, not required)NextGen experience (considered a plus, not required)
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID according to OHA regulationsMust be 18+ years old
