The Boeing Company has an exciting opening in the Air Dominance division. The Anti-Tamper Engineering Capability Center is seeking a Product Security Engineering Manager located in Berkeley, MO.
The manager will be responsible for leading a team of Product Security Engineers responsible for design and implementation of Anti-Tamper (AT) solutions.
The successful candidate should have avionics hardware, software, or systems engineering management experience and an interest in product security and cyber security techniques such as cryptography. The leader is responsible for leading a team of engineers defining AT requirements as well as designing, implementing, and testing AT solutions. This position will require leadership of a team performing work for the Air Dominance division as well as supporting projects in other divisions.
The candidate should have a demonstrated track record for leading through organizational culture change, process improvement, producing results and leading an engineering team. The candidate must also have the ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports.
The position requires being on-site full time and will report to the Anti-Tamper Senior Manager for Air Dominance who is also located in Berkeley, MO. This leadership position is critical to Boeing’s execution and is a key leader in protecting the United States War-Fighter!
Position Responsibilities:
Leads an engineering team of Anti-Tamper focused engineers
Oversee development of requirements, software implementation, and verification of solutions
Engages stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, and government entities are integrated into the development and status of development programs
Optimizes team execution and applies lessons learned across the organization
Leads performance of team and support organizations
Mitigates risks and issues
Coordinates supplier technical quality and execution
Performs lab oversight efforts as required
Leads investment projects related to AT development of products and services
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering field
5+ years’ engineering experience in any of the following fields: systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, electrical engineering, certification, network security and/or cybersecurity
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical, electronic or computer engineering
Experience in the field of Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity, or cryptography
Experience with avionics and/or aircraft computing systems.
Experience leading supplier development efforts
Experience in program management
