We are hiring for the following positions:
- Part Time Evening (3:30 p – 11 p)
Job Responsibilities:
Plans, manages and evaluates nursing care on a designated shift by current policies, regulations, and guidelines that govern long-term care facilities.
Makes written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director of Nursing as necessary, concerning the operation of the nursing department.
Delegates to each medication/treatment nurse the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform his/her assigned duties.
Makes emergency and critical care decisions involving residents and staff; keeps nursing and The Oaks administration informed.
Ensures that nursing staff provides the proper care as stated in the care plan regarding treatments, medications, diet, rehabilitative nursing care, and activities of daily living.
Assists with the development and completion of the resident assessment (MDS) by regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- 3+ years (s) experience in medical/surgical, rehab, or geriatric nursing.
