The focus of this job is design, specify, and purchase of instrumentation and controls for food grade process systems. An ideal candidate will have three to ten years experience designing and specifying instrumentation and controls with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or relating.
Engineer job duties
- Design, specify, and purchase process instrumentation.
- Develop and review of Process and Instrument Diagrams. P&IDs
- Design, specify and purchase MCC, VFD and DCS systems.
- Design control centers, IT and UPS backups.
- Create, modify, and debug HMI/SCADA software.
- Support I & C projects and report to management regarding: Budgets and procurement, proposals and
bid packages, onsite start-up, schedules and drafting, installation and construction, systems
commissioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer
Science or related.
- three to ten years experience in design and specifying instrumentation and controls for industrial
process operations.
