The Financial Analyst will coordinate, communicate, oversee the AR team operations.
Responsibilities:
- Communicates with AR team on client account setup
- Oversees monthly order entry process and credit adjustments
- Manages client account billing statuses
- Coordinates between Ideabar team and AR team on special billing requests
- Coordinates with corporate finance team on posting all cash receipts from clients
- Reconciles client payments and billings on request
- Coordinates between Ideabar vendors and corporate accounts payable team in the setup and payment of vendors
- Codes invoices to proper GL accounts and standardizes invoice descriptions
- Reconciles billed to actual media costs
- Works with Director of Operations and corporate finance team on the monthly close process
- Creates journal entry requests for corporate EA team to post in Oracle, as needed
- Reports weekly on agency timelogs, following up with employees and managers with missed time
- Assists in preparation of reporting, including agency financials and business operations-efficiency metrics
- Assists with other business operations functions, as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related business field
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, data analytics and/or business ops role, preferably within an advertising agency
- Experience with accrual accounting and GAAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel user
- Ability to use discretion when handling confidential or sensitive matters
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal relationships (Excellent communication skills, both written and oral)
- Detail-oriented
- Strong analytical, organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
