Supports the administration of pooled self-insurance pools by performing the following duties.
Supports efforts with staff and outside vendors in order to deliver timely, efficient, and professional client services to pools and their members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Four-year college or university program certificate; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand common technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write articles for publications that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Personal Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
