SAP Quality Engineering Team, part of the Information Systems And Technology (IS&T) organization, safeguards the performance health of SAP production systems and develops efficient, innovative solutions to ensure the quality and stability of Apple’s enterprise software! As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to deliver the complete automation test infrastructure and tools while adhering to the best automation practices and principles. You’ll work with development engineers and functional analysts, understand new innovative software, and identify automation opportunities. You will provide overall leadership on test automation strategy to reduce costs, increase test coverage, and shorten testing cycles.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of functional test automation experience or equivalent knowledge in Software Engineering
- Experience in architecting and developing test automation frameworks.
- Possess excellent knowledge of software development and test methodologies. Experience designing, implementing and documenting automation tests for UI and API using Selenium and RestAssured.
- Experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).
- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines for automated tests in Jenkins.
- Experience in test management tools such as JIRA.
- Knowledge of Database Management Systems such as Oracle, SAP HANA Exhibit creativity and a willingness to explore new technologies.
Description
– Define, develop, and deliver a test automation strategy, roadmap, and working framework/infrastructure. – Communicate, coordinate, and align automation strategy with the engineering team members, make recommendations to improve reliability, performance, standard methodologies, and processes. – Provide technical leadership and coaching to a team of Automation Engineers. – Work with multi-functional teams in test automation activities across the organization. – Enhance the existing automation test framework. – Integrate tests in a continuous delivery environment and establish a continuous build and test cycle. – Establish processes and toolsets to maintain automation scripts and generate test reports.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Additional Requirements
- The following experience is a plus:
- – Experience in SAP technologies, including S/4 HANA.
- – Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- – Knowledge of Algorithms and Big O-Notation.
