Alltek Services is looking for candidates to apply for the position of IT Support Specialist.

We are looking for:

  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills, excellence in customer service & communication and experience with supporting various IT needs in a business environment.
  • A self-starter with technical experience in several areas, good organizational skills and a strong desire to succeed
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
  • Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information

The Role of Technical Support Representative

  • Working knowledge of computers/peripherals, networking, and security to troubleshoot & remedy various issues
  • Deploying new workstations, laptops, printers, and network equipment
  • Taking calls and electronic tickets via ticketing system at a fast pace
  • Properly documenting all actions/events in ticket log
  • Work primarily from our office but also onsite at client offices occasionally
  • Coordinate software/hardware repairs and installation of devices

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Net+, Sec+, Dell/Microsoft/Sonicwall etc) preferred
  • Basic understanding & applied experience with networks, PCs and hardware configuration
  • Experience and understanding of troubleshooting methodology

Requirements:

  • Reliable Transportation (job is both in-office and occasionally client onsite)
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year

Experience:
