Alltek Services is looking for candidates to apply for the position of IT Support Specialist.

We are looking for:
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills, excellence in customer service & communication and experience with supporting various IT needs in a business environment.
- A self-starter with technical experience in several areas, good organizational skills and a strong desire to succeed
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
- Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Follow-up and update customer status and information

The Role of Technical Support Representative
- Working knowledge of computers/peripherals, networking, and security to troubleshoot & remedy various issues
- Deploying new workstations, laptops, printers, and network equipment
- Taking calls and electronic tickets via ticketing system at a fast pace
- Properly documenting all actions/events in ticket log
- Work primarily from our office but also onsite at client offices occasionally
- Coordinate software/hardware repairs and installation of devices
Experience:
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Net+, Sec+, Dell/Microsoft/Sonicwall etc) preferred
- Basic understanding & applied experience with networks, PCs and hardware configuration
- Experience and understanding of troubleshooting methodology
Requirements:
- Reliable Transportation (job is both in-office and occasionally client onsite)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
