Description

Qualified candidate will have Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

The Assistant Controller will be responsible for Investment Oversight and Fund Accounting and Reporting.

Investment Oversight consists of monitoring third party property managers books and records to ensure accurate reporting.

Process include but are not limited to monthly property uploads, property reviews, flux analysis, debt compliance, reviewing transactions activity (acquisitions, dispositions) and establish relationship with property managers as well as our Client’s Asset Managers.

Fund Accounting & Reporting consists of preparation of fund financial statements and other required financial information including but not limited to investor funded and unfunded commitments.

Other responsibilities include but not limited to ensure support NAV calculations, recording of fund level accruals, recording of fair value (investment and debt), calculation of fund asset management fee, preparation of joint venture waterfalls, calculation of NCREIF and GIPS returns, assist with annual audit.

Other responsibilities issued as deemed by manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Fund Accounting and Investment Oversight: 3 years (Preferred)
• Reporting: 4 years (Preferred)
