ABIS, Inc is seeking a Houston based Software Strategist (Entry Level) to join a dynamic software company dedicated to the development, implementation, and support of Adjutant Software, a market-leading ERP, specializing in the metal manufacturing industry.

At ABIS, we want to hire Strategists who can see the big picture and move our clients closer to their business goals using our software tools. The Strategist participates in all stages of the implementation life cycle, including gathering client requirements, configuration, multiple complex testing approaches, and application deployment. Throughout the project, you are working closing with practice and project managers to ensure customer expectations are met and the projects deploy on-time and on-budget.

As an entry level Software Strategist, you will be assisting in implementation projects and client support, with the intention of growing into the Senior Strategist level where you will own and lead projects and implementations.

About the Role

Assist the project lead in client onboarding, professional services and consulting projects.

Build strong relationships with our clients to understand their needs and ensure their success with Adjutant

Serve as a point of contact for our customer throughout the project and as a liaison between clients and the rest of the relevant resources

Empower customers to connect their goals and challenges

Work with client data conversion

Scope and test improvement developments

Provide ongoing post Go-Live support to clients

Work internally to ensure quality of product through testing

About You

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field or equivalent work experience

Technical capability in implementing an ERP, CRM or other transactional software applications

Using and/or implementing one or more of the following systems – accounting, inventory management, sales order processing software or equivalent technology

Competency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook

Microsoft SQL experience is a huge plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
