Production Supervisor – Holly, MI
Tasks:
- Daily update of KPIs including but not limited to: time & attendance, hourly trackers, shift reports, etc.
- Hourly associate discipline and corrective action following process and procedures for documentation and reporting
- Timely performance feedback to hourly associates regarding attendance and job performance
- Develop and implement cross functional line/station training plan for hourly associates
- Monitor daily performance to 5S principles and practices
- Meet annual goals and objectives identified for role
- Engage in customer visits with and/or without the plant management
- Planning of the yearly budget (staff, investments, costs) and responsible for the budget, definition of corrective actions by deviations in the yearly budget
- Short term and midterm capacity planning (production space, staff and equipment)
- Responsible for cost effective supervision of the team leaders and assembly operators
- Leading the teamwork of the assembly operators (as the coach of the team, facilitator of the team meetings)
- Ensures a current level of information for the plant management
- Responsible for meeting all procedures, job instructions and organization instructions in the work area as well as continuous improvement of the organization and processes in the production area
- Provide leadership, coaching, training and mentoring to Tis
Profile:
- 1 – 3 years of experience as a supervisor in a production department of a series production company in the automotive industry
- Technical knowledge and skills in mechanical engineering, electric, electronic, CNC, robot technique, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Experience in running highly automated production equipment
- Independent decision making with high risks for the protection of the production process
- Service oriented thinking and taking of actions
- Assertiveness, creativity, teamwork mentality, capable of setting priorities
- Ability to take care of project related work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Work Location: One location
