The Packaging Warehouse Associate is responsible for the packaging, kitting, labeling, and proper dunnage application of small and large parts that are delivered to various lines according to the established Site Processes.
Functions
- Operate packaging equipment, including but not limited to, bagger, shrink wrap tunnel, hand wrapper, strapper, ESD and measuring devices.
- Measure, weigh, and count products and materials. Job requires using hand tools such as screwdriver, hammer, crowbar.
- Package product that will vary in size from palletized to boxed and bagged product.
- Count and package parts with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
- Report missing items or quality variances to direct supervisor.
- Perform activities in such a manner as to ensure efficient, secure, and safe flow of associates, products, and documents on all packaged product.
- Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.
- Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Ensure facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
- Communicate and report any incidents.
- May perform housekeeping duties.
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Pass Background and Drug Screen

How to attend
We are located just off I-24 on Wauhatchie Pike. Enter through Gate #3 (marked by a Now Hiring feather flag). When you arrive feel free to park in our main parking lot in between the buildings. Enter the hiring event through the door marked with an Entrance sign. Please be sure to wear a face covering. You will also complete a COVID screening form and temperature check when you arrive.
