The Operations Training Assistant supports training teams in providing job-specific training to enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the Cast Members. You will help prepare and design training materials and tools. You will also support the daily tasks and deliverables including editing documents, booking meetings and space, and overseeing project logistics.

The Operations Training Assistant reports to the Operations Training Manager.

Responsibilities :

  • Help with needs assessment through conducting Operational observations
  • Communicate with Operations, Training, and other partners
  • Manage the Learning Management System associated with the training event(s)
  • Use the Learning Management System to monitor and report out on required training
  • Help prepare and provide feedback to Trainers, Facilitators, and Coordinators of Training
  • Evaluate On the Job Training, Orientations, Core classes, and continuous learning
  • Monitor and report out on required training
  • Support the implementation and sustainment of training based on the training strategy
  • Support training logistics which could include classroom booking, scheduling classes, coordinating facilitators
  • Assist with various project work related to training documentation, new offerings, and training initiatives


Basic Qualifications :

  • Experience delivering quality training
  • Experience providing constructive feedback
  • Experience handling confidential information
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and SharePoint®
  • Advanced coursework in Education, Learning & Development, or related field
  • Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends, holidays and possible overtime


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months Walt Disney World experience
  • Experience with Disney’s D Learn system for managing offerings
  • Advanced knowledge or experience in one of the following: ASE (Animals, Science, & Environment), Disney Parks, Disney Resorts, or Entertainment


Required Education :

  • High School Degree or equivalent
