Job Description
RLBA seeks an entry-level professional to support its growing practice. This position is fully remote, but ability to work from Arlington, VA office is a positive. The successful candidate will feature strong written and oral communications and a desire to work closely and cooperatively with a seasoned and highly collegial staff. This position provides an excellent opportunity for gaining significant exposure and experience in the railroad industry, working on a wide array of projects and rapid professional growth. An understanding of business finance concepts will further enhance the candidate’s growth within the company. Strong analytical skills are required to identify and analyze a wide range of railroad industry topics. Proficiency in graphic design with programs such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is preferred. Previous work experience and/or interest in either freight or passenger rail is preferred, but not required. Likewise, business development and outreach skills also are preferred, but not required. Initial duties will include proposal, report and presentation preparation as well as research support.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Data entry skills
- Analytical and communications skills
- Ability to prioritize and work on several projects at once
- Discipline in meeting deliverable deadlines
- Ability to learn industry-specific simulation and costing software
Preferred Qualifications
- Business education/background
- Proficiency in Adobe CS software such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
