The Information Technology Department is looking for an IT Support Engineer who will provide administration, support, and training related to third party software applications. Day to day responsibilities include executing support across local infrastructure and ensure all desktop/infrastructure issues are effectively supported. You will serve as a technical liaison on IT projects within Motus and will contribute ways to continuously improve upon the company’s technical and operational processes. To be successful in this role you must have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with all organizational levels. Ideal location of this candidate will be in the PST or MST time zone.
Position Duties:
- Identify, prioritize, resolve, document, and communicate technical or operational issues related to third party software applications
- Provide technical support via phone, email, or chat for internal end users
- Maintain high client satisfaction through successful and timely resolution of technical and operational problems
- Participate and collaborate in team meetings and give inputs to improve operations efficiency
- Support after hour and on-call support for emergency problems or software upgrades
- Configure workstations and laptops with standard desktop image and install applications; optimize for performance and operation
- Provide one-on-one assistance to end users on standard core applications
- Provide accurate and creative solutions to customer problems of moderate nature to ensure end user productivity
- Provide incident notification and management of issues
- Collaborate with other areas within IT to determine and document root cause of issues
- Seek out and enhance technology expertise, keeping current with evolving systems and business processes best practices
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Degree (AA/BS/BA) in computer related field or a minimum of 3-5 year’s experience in Technology support
- Ability to work PST or MST hours
- Experience with Windows 10 desktop, Office 365 administration, and Active Directory required
- Mac desktop experience a plus
- Prior experience supporting 3rd party and/or externally hosted application operations
- High level proficiency with mobile device support (iOS, Android)
- Strong troubleshooting/problem -solving skills
- Knowledge of network principals desired
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work with tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote work environment
- Positive, eager to learn attitude
