Global Syn-Turf
Position Description: Global Syn-Turf, the leading artificial grass manufacturer and distributor in the United States, is looking for a professional, detail-oriented, customer service focused Customer Service Specialist to process customer orders in an accurate and timely manner. This position must exercise independent judgment, have problem solving skills, and possess excellent communication skills. The Customer Service Specialist works closely with various departments, and is committed to teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Maximize customer experience by efficiently managing the processing of customer orders, confirmation of product availability and ship dates, and scheduling of shipments.
- Verify all orders are correct and consistent with customer terms.
- Respond to all customer and sales representative inquiries regarding order status, delivery, warranties, etc.
- Assist with the tracking of customer daily deliveries.
- Stay current with product knowledge in order to assist customers with product questions.
- Quickly investigate and resolve customers’ problems and questions in a calm, professional manner.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience performing customer service functions.
- Ability to accurately process high volume of transactions.
- Ability to be proactive and get things done with minimal supervision.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a fast pace environment.
- Must have a dedicated workspace/office at home.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Flexible and responsive and able to work in a fast paced work environment.
- Detail oriented and a strong team player.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to multi task.
- Proficient in Excel and Word.
