We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Logistics Manager search in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounts relating to the domestic and international transportation of goods
- Manage the relationship with our freight forwarder, ensuring they meet agreed upon commitments.
- Manage international freight – Addressing any deviations from target delivery dates and pricing.
- Negotiate rate structures, including consolidation lanes, capacity, and customer programs.
- Manages the shipment report to ensure data accuracy and updates customers and account managers when shipments are delayed. Works with freight forwarders to keep this report updated
Requirements:
- Experience as a Logistics Manager managing 3rd party logistic firms
- Experience with International Shipping
- Experience with Hazardous shipping

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
