WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Demonstrated understanding of Company objectives utilized to conceive and plan projects to support KBio strategies.
Applies advanced technical/professional principles, theories, and concepts to lead projects, develop biopharmaceuticals (bioconjugation, purification, aseptic processing) and influence others.
Leads and performs hands on experiments in the identification, development, and implementation of new technologies, processes and science related to bioconjugation and protein purification strategies.
Represents function while interacting with technical support groups and functional business partners to drive business strategies.
Identify new intellectual property opportunities and support the required filings
Engage with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance with regulations
Engage in process development to support timelines
CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?
Do you have recent experience with downstream processing of proteins and/or biopharmaceuticals?
Do you have recent experience in discussing and executing an experimental plan?
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Hands-on experience with modern pharmaceutical purification equipment commonly used in the development and manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredient and drug product.
Experience with biopharmaceutical process development and scale-up activities.
Strong Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Professional Suite.
Can independently conceive, design, and conduct bioprocessing/manufacturing experiments.
Identifies, recommends, and implements technical alternatives and solutions to complex problems.
Ability to present and discuss scientific study design, data, and rationale within a team.
4-year undergraduate degree plus 3 years of relevant experience or 5 years relevant progressive experience.
Familiar with regulatory guidance on CMC activities, including 21CFR 210/211 and ICH Q7.
BENEFICIAL
Experience in bioconjugation/formulation of drug substance and drug product in R&D and GMP settings.
Experience in planning, leading, and reporting on scientific experiments.
Experience in supporting regulatory filings of biopharmaceutical drug products.
