Job Title: Operations and Sales Support Specialist

Job Type: Full-Time

Business Name: Paprika, Inc – Minnetonka, MN. Paprika Inc. is an independently owned full-service sales representative company selling wholesale books and gifts to several key retailers located with the USA.

PURPOSE:

The role of the Operations and Sales Support Specialist is to support the sales rep by managing all aspects of the sales process and provide a communication link between the retailers and vendors as it relates to product data, order processing, order issues, and shipments. This person will be instrumental to making sure the retailers have item ordering data necessary to place orders with the vendors, to confirm purchase orders with the vendors, to verify purchase orders ship complete and on time, to solve all shipping issues that may arise, and to use the retailer’s portal to communicate key shipping data.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work directly with retailers, via email, to understand what product data is needed.
  • Work directly with vendors (manufacturers), via phone/email, to gather item data for the retailers.
  • Upon notification of POs, pull purchase orders off retailers’ portal and submit them to the correct vendor for order processing.
  • Deal will any/all issues that come up during the processing of orders.
  • Fill out all necessary item compliance certificate information as necessary for each item ordered.
  • Track and log all POs and sales data. Enter all POs into the sales rep order processing application.
  • Gather, communicate, and explain detailed shipping instructions and documentation to new vendors and new personnel as necessary.
  • Manage the flow of all the purchase orders to ensure all the POs are shipped on time and in full.
  • Performs other work-related tasks as necessary to assist with the sale rep duties.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS: * Microsoft Outlook and Excel: 1 Year (Required)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer savvy

  • Highly detail oriented
  • Excellent Organizational Skills
  • Ability to independently problem solve and think outside the box
  • Wholesale work history (Preferred)
  • Prior work experience or 2-year associates degree required

OTHER: * Training provided for as long as needed

  • Work from home after all training (approximately 3 months) is completed
  • Must have your own laptop and computer support
  • Must be willing to use your own mobile phone for business purposes
  • Must have your own printer and we will purchase paper/ink office supplies
  • Paid monthly
  • No benefits
  • Hourly rate is $18 to $20/hour

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Required)
