POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Regional Finance Associate to join our growing Corporate Accounting team in Mexico, Costa Rica, or Argentina. This full-time position will be responsible for a broad range of corporate finance responsibilities across the Americas region including the support of local financial and accounting reporting, oversight of daily operations for certain Americas entities, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, relationship with local partners, work in coordination with other internal teams, and more. This individual will report to our Regional Finance Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the local month-end close processes and maintenance of the general ledgers
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly account reconciliations and financial reporting deliverables, including bank reconciliation processes
- Oversight and support of day to day finance operations within Americas region
- Prepare, record, and adjust general journal entries, working closely with our Global India Finance Team
- Perform monthly Income Statement and Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure an accurate monthly accounting close process
- Work with the team and local vendors to assist in the preparation and review of tax filings, local financial statements and other compliance matters
- Assist with process improvements, automation projects and other ad hoc projects across the region
- Support in the maintenance of the established process with the internal teams
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience:
- BA/BS in Finance/Accounting or equivalent working experience required
- Relevant professional qualification in finance such as CPA preferred
- 3+ years of accounting/finance experience preferred
- Business proficiency in the English language required
- Experience in-depth understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Experience in Latam accounting and corporate tax and VAT preferred
- Technology-literate, Microsoft Suite, NetSuite experience preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to juggle with variety of tasks
- Ability to take ownership and carry accountability even when working closely together with the team
- Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills to enable effective interaction with all levels of personnel
