Soniq Transportation & Warehouse Looking for Accounting & Data Entry Clerk at Kent, WA

Soniq Transportation and Warehouse is seeking to hire an accounting professional to join its Accounting team. The Accounting Clerk will perform multiple accounting support tasks: manage daily deadlines, solve problems, make reliable decisions, independent research, analyze facts, and communicate effectively internally and externally. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager.

Schedule is flexible, but will need to be a set 8 hours per day, Monday thru Friday (could be 7am- 3:30pm, 8am- 4:30pm, or 9am- 5:30pm for example) Depending on experience, this position will start at $24 per hour with an excellent benefit package (details below).

Job Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable:

• Processing of Credit Applications and New Client Set-up
• Submittal of proof of delivery to priority clients
• Maintaining Client accounts ensuring contact info. address and terms are up-to-date
• Recording of payments received in Quickbooks and ERP system

Accounts Payable:

• Calculation of daily driver payments

General Office Support:

• Sort/distribute mail
• Performs other related accounting duties as required

Requirements

• Recent and relevant accounting experience
• Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required
• Accounts Payable (AP) experience required
• Experienced organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledgeable of ERP systems
• Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
• Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes
• Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
• Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
• Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
