We are looking for patient and outgoing food service worker with exceptional customer service skills.
Our ideal food service worker will be quick, friendly, diligent with attention to detail and sanitation. You will also encourage and maintain excellent customer service when interacting with the residents of the DOM at Aspire. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Serve food to residents of a rehabilitation facility in a calm and upbeat manner
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables and fruit
- Prepare simple dishes such as salads
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- Perform other kitchen duties such as dishwashing and cleaning as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service
- A team player with good communication skills
- Ability to communicate with residents/customers with a positive, calm, and professional attitude
- Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
- Loves helping others
- Is ethical, honest, dependable and open-minded
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable
- At least 1 year customer service or food service experience
A background check will be submitted upon employment
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
